Airvideo HD for QNAP Server

airvideoiconQNAP_logo

For some time now, I have been waiting on a kind freeware developer to release Airvideo HD for the QNAP server.    I even offered to sponsor such an effort, but today a Mysterious person released a version to the web.

I am linking there with Google translate as the original site is in Korean.   If anyone can translate that better, please do!    But I am mirroring the release here as well for download.

Thank you stranger!

HI Nick, please can you help me? I have this loaded on my Qnap TS-251 and it connects but I can’t get the folders to display on the iPad app.

I’ve tried all sorts, for example
    /share/Multimedia
    /Multimedia
    ~/share/Multimedia
and various iterations, but no luck. Any guidance would be much appreciated!

Hi Nick, sorry I just saw this response from you now.

No, unfortunately I had to give up as I couldn’t get it working. Any suggestions for where I might be going wrong?

    Thanks a lot!

I now have the folders showing (removed the # from the text files) but AirVideo just says ‘Could not load folder content, sorry :(‘

    I’ll persevere…thanks anyway

    Success!

Had to remove the # marks from the text file (doh) and the path had to be:
    /share/Multimedia

Somewhere along the way I had changed it to /Volumes/Multimedia

      Good man! thanks for sharing.

Watch out for memory leak. Im not sure yet, but I think this app with Kodi running kills the QNAP 870
