Great story from engadget.
Apparently some Audiophiles could not tell the difference between Monster Cables and coat hangers.. I love it.
By the way… along the same line… can anyone recommend me Component cables that work well and don’t cost 100 Euro per meter?
Component Cables? How 2005. HDMI with Oxygen-less Copper is the only way to go! 🙂
Ah yes Robert… but I am dealing with Netstreams installs which are still very much using Component 🙂
Actually, that brings up another point. I have yet to find any “Joe user” that can see a difference between HDMI and Component 😉
Give me somemore details, like do you need to run thru conduit, will it be next to AC, what are your longest runs, will you make to order or want prefabbed. I can get you prices from vendors here in the US that may have offices overseas.
Hi Darin,
No AC… it’s too cold in Ireland 😉 No Conduit.
I am simply looking for Component 1 Meter cables to run from a wall socket to the back of the TV.
Nick, I found these on the net. All have brand name cables that seem to be as cheap as here in the US. Not to good converting to Euros but I think it’s what you want. If not report back.
