I would recommend trying Office 2007

For one, this blog post is being written from Word 2007 with its new Blog Publishing system. Very cool indeed, but this feature does need work… CS Photo stores need to be supported as do post categories. If the category does not exist then it should create it.

That said, I have found the whole thing to be pretty stable as a product.

Right now, Outlook 2007 is looking very cool as it syncs up all of my IE7 RSS Feeds, no more requirement for Reachout or any other RSS Reader in outlook! More soon.

    Nick,

Do you have to have MSDN subscription for Outlook 2007.

I would desperately love to get rid of the current outlook (office 2003, I believe).

Also, does it work for newsgroups as well or do we still have to use OE?

    Thanks.

    Hi Nick,

It is great to finally be able to run all the components of the next generation together.. Office 2007, Exchange 2007, Windows Vista Beta2 and Longhorn Server.

I must admit, the new look in Office is superb. I find it really make working day to day simpler as it is so much easier to find things!

The new look Outlook is great too and RSS is very useful. Nice that all the integration is coming together!

    Cheers
    Nathan

The beta 2 is publicly available here…

No MSDN Subscription needed. Note, this will time bomb eventually, so to continue using it you will need a licence.
